Families and friends gathered for an unforgettable evening where music, storytelling, and festive fun came together in perfect harmony.

On December 2, members of the Soaring Eagle Band traveled to Lee High School to compete in the TMEA Region 19 5A All-Region Band auditions—returning home with historic results.

The ISS Choir Fall Showcase was a night to remember! Students lit up the stage with their spectacular vocal performances, leaving the audience cheering for more. From heartfelt solos to powerful duets, tight-knit group performances, and full choir numbers that filled the room with energy, it was clear this group is overflowing with talent.

Barbers Hill High School sophomore Alexis Bullock was named the winner of the 2025 Fall Fest T-shirt design contest.

Cadet Col. Christian Irwin has been appointed Cadet Wing Commander for the Barbers Hill High School JROTC program — the highest-ranking cadet leadership position. In this role, Irwin is responsible for overseeing the entire cadet corps, managing the leadership team and ensuring the overall effectiveness of training, operations and events.

It was a weekend to remember for our High School Fine Arts Department, as both our visual and performing artists earned top honors at prestigious state-level competitions.

Sophomore Alyx Moore has been selected for a highly coveted spot at the prestigious Western Art Academy at Schreiner University in Kerrville, Texas. Additionally, senior Tori Ludwig has earned an alternate position, highlighting the outstanding talent found at BH.

The Soaring Eagle Varsity Guard made BHHS history on February 15 with a groundbreaking performance at their first-ever Winter Guard International (WGI) competition! This year’s team is the first in school history to compete at a WGI event—and one of the few to advance to Finals in their debut appearance!

The Choir had a strong showing at the Region 19 UIL Solo & Ensemble Contests, with 100 talented students competing across various categories. Of these, 34 soloists and 36 ensemble members earned the opportunity to advance to the State competition in May!

For the first time ever, a Barbers Hill High School Choir has been selected to perform at the Texas Music Educators Convention in San Antonio.
